Good question — and one we love answering. In short, we help businesses build the foundations that make real growth possible. Caitlin works on the marketing side: positioning, brand strategy, content, and growth planning. Tami works on the people side: culture, HR strategy, organizational design, leadership development, and the analytics that connect your people decisions to actual business outcomes.
-
Absolutely not. Each service stands completely on its own, and most clients come to us for one specific thing. If we think the other side could help you, we'll mention it — but we're not here to upsell you. We follow your lead.

Honestly, there's no such thing as a typical engagement — and that's intentional. We start every relationship with a real conversation about where you are, what's not working, and what success looks like for you. Then we scope the work together. You won't get a generic package pulled off a shelf.
-
We work on a project or retainer basis — we don't bill by the hour. We'd rather scope work around outcomes than watch the clock. That way, you know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before anything starts.
-
We work with small businesses every day, so we get it — budgets are real. We'll always be upfront if what you need doesn't match what you're able to invest right now, and we'll tell you what does. No awkward surprises.
-
Yes — every engagement has a clear scope, timeline, and terms documented before we start. It keeps everyone aligned and protects both sides. Think of it less as legal formality and more as a shared roadmap.
-
We work best with founders, CEOs, HR leaders, and marketing leads at small to mid-sized businesses — usually somewhere between 10 and 200 employees — who know something needs to change and are ready to do the real work to change it. Our clients tend to be self-aware, ambitious, and done with surface-level fixes that don't hold.
-
Honestly, we're less focused on industry and more focused on situation. What our clients have in common is that they're at an inflection point — scaling, restructuring, repositioning, or rebuilding something that isn't working. If that sounds like you, we're probably a good fit no matter what field you're in.
-
With a bigger firm, you hire the partner and get the junior associate. With us, you get us — Caitlin and Tami, directly, on every engagement. No handoffs, no delegation to someone who wasn't in the room when you explained the problem.
-
A couple of things. We actually go beneath the surface — we're not interested in cosmetic fixes or advice that sounds good but doesn't change anything. And we bring marketing and people strategy under one roof, which almost no one else does. When a client needs both, the work integrates naturally because we're already working together.
-
Analytics aren't a bolt-on — they're baked into how we think. We use data to understand what's actually happening in your business, set benchmarks that mean something, and make sure the work we're doing is producing real, measurable outcomes. We trust instinct, but we back it up with numbers.
-
The first thing most clients notice is clarity — that feeling of finally knowing what to focus on and why. From there, it's traction: strategies that actually move things forward. And over time, foundations that hold — a brand built to grow, a team built to perform, and decisions backed by data that connects to revenue.
-
Honestly, both — and we let the work decide. For local clients in the Denver-metro area, we prefer to meet in person because it makes the early discovery and relationship-building stages a lot more productive. For clients outside our area, we work remotely and are fully set up for it. And if you're out of state but a project genuinely calls for us to be in the room with you — we're open to that conversation too. Geography has never gotten in the way of good work
